Deskset

Terms of use

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms apply to the Deskset: Unit Converter app (“Deskset”), developed by Aneest Studio (“we”). By using Deskset you agree to them. They sit alongside the terms of the store you got it from: on iPhone, Apple’s standard licence agreement; on Android, the Google Play terms. If they disagree about a purchase, the store’s terms win.

Using Deskset

Deskset is free to use, with Deskset Pro as an optional extra. Every unit and category is free, with no ads. You may use it for your own purposes. Please don’t copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

Deskset Pro

About the numbers

Deskset’s conversion factors come from the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST Handbook 44 and SP 811) and the SI definitions, and are worked out exactly before being rounded for display. Units you add yourself use the sizes you enter; we can’t vouch for those.

Deskset is a convenience tool, not a certified measuring instrument. Check any value that matters before relying on it, and don’t use Deskset alone for medical doses, engineering, navigation, legal-for-trade measurement or anything where an error could cause harm.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features over time. If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page; if the change is significant, we’ll say so in the app.

Liability

Deskset is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app, including from a conversion you relied on. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of Deskset, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in them limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live. If a part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
